The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sam Pyne has jabbed former President John Mahama for using an Animal Farm analogy to link the ruling government and its appointees.
Addressing NDC supporters in Cape Coast, the former President accused the president of not showing good leadership skills for failing to sack Ayisi-Boateng, High Commissioner to South Africa.
"If you are a party officer, you can say whatever you want, there’s no problem. You can say, ooh, all jobs should go to NDC people before it goes to NPP people, that’s if you are Allotey Jacobs, you can say that because Government doesn’t pay you, tax payers don’t pay you, you haven’t sworn an oath to anybody. But when you are appointed as a high commissioner and then you swear an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of Ghana, and the Constitution of Ghana says there shall be no discrimination and that you shall do justice to all manner of persons, then you come and say...
Have you read Animal Farm before? It says all animals are equal. That’s how they started. When they did the revolution, they said all animals are equal. Then when Napoleon and the PIGS started enjoying started enjoying, they had to justify why they were enjoying so they said, all animals are equal but some are more equal than others...so, we did the ‘revolution’ and he came to power, now that the ‘pigs are enjoying’ they say some Ghanaians are more Ghanaian that others...” he said.
This comment was not well welcomed by the ruling party as they felt the former President could have done better than that.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Wednesday, Sam Pyne “If former President John Mahama is not a pathetic character, who else will be? How can you package such a character to be President of Ghana again…,? Mahama’s inference meant that all Ghanaians are pigs…Mahama should have written a very tall apology and resign as a Ghanaian and go to stay in the farm of Mr Jones’ Animal Farm which he likes very much…,” he stated.

Mahama you are still using such loose talks? You are a disappointment you know? No more will you become a president with such acts cos ghanaians are now educated, morally growing and wiser so grow up.
Ooh! God have mercy on Ghana,What are the leaders of Ghana impacting to the youth of today? The youth of Ghana please! Let us respect the old irrespective of what the person has done or say.
Mahama will never be president again, we live to see. God said this through His prophet, Owusu Bempah
The fear Mahama and NDC is having is about Dr. Bawmia. The leadership of the has device a plan to destroy Dr. Bawumia whom they NDC fear may take over from Nana. The leadership of NDC has there send their agenda (Destroy Dr. Bawumia) to all their communicators and serial callers. This agenda was unveil at cape coast by Mahama whose fear for 2020 is Dr. Bawmia. From now on NDC will start praising Nana Addo and attacking Dr. Bawumia for the least. There will be more press conferences and all will be centred on Dr. Bawumia. NDC will used people like Ato Forson, Adongo, B.A. Fuseini, Kweku Rickett . Their communicators will pick on from there. Most of these these guys mentioned had two months long distance masters program in finance, are now calling themselves economists. The majority leader is also not helping matters. If NPP wants to counter this diabolic NDC agenda, the majority leader and some few mps in NPP must be watched. In the few days Ghanaians will witness the desperation of NDC in opposition and their agenda against Dr. Bawumia . Bawumia should be ready for vilification, insults, his integrity and personality attacks.
We thank Almighty God prez Nana Addo has bring free SHS so,pls SAM PAYNE GO BACK TO SCHOOL n learn how to respect people
It's very disappointing to see our leaders talk like this. We should not make this a partisan issue but rather a leadership issue. If our leaders are talking this way how do they expect the youth to behave and talk. We had enough of partisanship in Ghana is about time we stop degrading the other for power. We should rather think about Ghana not any party
Sam pyne should rather resign as a Ghanaian, who is more Ghanaian than Mr. Ex- president john dramani mahama...not even Nana addo , illiteracy of highest order..
Morons and ***barred word*** are justifying what the so called MAHAMA said....i wonder where he got his comm skill from...very hypocritical of Ghanaians...***barred word*** NDC
It's funny everyone is referring to to the ***barred word*** farm book but lots of these Ndc people have not even read the whole book really well like their leader that's y they keep making noise about the phrase mahama used... 😄 😄
It is unfortunate that former president Mahama missed the point and used the wrong analogy. A whole former president should have known how to speak as a politician and a statesman. His wrong analogy has brought him the wrath of well meaning Ghanaians! The NDC are fond of using piggs and this makes it very difficult to believe it is a real analogy or they mean to use the term but in the covert way. Did Prof Mills not refer to the Jubilee/Flagstaff house as a piggery? How can one assume Mahama's use of the same word could be a mere coincidence? Singularity of occurrence usually suggests more than meet the eye. Mr Mahama is to blame here so let him learn to use right analogies next time to demonstrate his maturity.
