The New Patriotic Party Communications Team Member and Klottey Korley Deputy Constituency Secretary hopeful Mr. Ibrahim Cisse popularly known as Patriot Faisal has asked Dr. Dominic Ayine to drop his suit against Mr. Martin Amidu.
In a statement sent to peacefmonline.com, he said it will be the interest of this nation if Mr. Martin Amidu is allowed to work without any law suit.
“It will be in the nation’s interest that Mr. Martin Amidu is allowed to work freely"
Dr. Dominic Ayine has caused his lawyers to file a suit against the appointment of Martin Amidu as Special Prosecutor challenging his age.
He has however been vetted by the Appointment Committee.
Following the vetting, Mr. Ibrahim Cisse suggested to Dr. Ayine to withdraw the legal suit against the appointment of Martin Amidu as the Special Prosecutor.
According to him, the nominee proved to many Ghanaians that he is the best man for the job, he said.
"Watching him at the vetting, I realized that this man is a huge asset for this country. It will be a great disservice if this country is denied the services of Martin Amidu. The President made a good choice", he stressed.
"Martin Amidu has shown that he has the right skill, experience and moral clout to help this country save billions from corruption".
Mr. Cisse however stressed that clearly, the NDC has no justification to harbour any fear because of Martin Amidu. He has demonstrated to be neutral and impartial in his work."
"Posterity will judge Dr. Ayine and the NDC if they use this law suit to deny this country and Mr. Martin Amidu the opportunity to fight corruption, he concluded.

where were you when Nana Addo and the NPP were going to court over the 2012 election results? concert hypocritic ***barred word***.
Nicodemus Ayine, Dishonet Ayine,Light off Ayine, Low battery Ayine,Laptop problem Ayine, minority report Ayine, what is your motive for the suit at the suprime Court? We know you and your co-hots plan... JDM is using you through Tony Luther. But thankfully, We know the rout.
Tony is now in court, not just court but the Supreme Court so what do you really mean?
I heard it last hear from her own mouth.
I heard it last hear from her own mouth.
It is evident the law suit was filed with evil intentions and,ill will. There is something called the letter and spirit behind every article written in the constitution. If the letter of the law was breached or had the tendency to be breached without the spirit behind the letter then this suit won't wash. In the circumstances, the mitigating factors outweigh the aggravating factors and any fair-minded person who watched the demeanour of the nominee and the energy and passion he exuded during his vetting would attest to the fact he is the right candidate for the position. We are not saying Amidu will be the silver bullet to eradicating corruption but he has demonstrated with limited resources and limited support that he is more serious than the average person in fighting corruption in this country. He has already paid some high prices for standing for the rule of law and integrity. Those of you rubbishing his appointment what demonstrable efforts in the fight against corruption do you have to show? He has gh51million won for the national coffers using his own resources to show! Better ***barred word***,you nation wreckers. Of course he was modest enough to admit that he has accepted the challenge to try. Others have refused to even consider trying!
What people fail to realize is that Tony Lithur is just using Dr. Ayine, but the real person suing Martin Amidu is Tony Lithur. He knows he has a huge problem if Amidu gets the job.
It's interesting how people are over hyping this gentleman. He is Just One Person! Are we saying we are all corrupt to the extent in the absence of Amidu nothing can be done for this country to move on? Countries and institutions are run on sound laws not the wish or the word of mouth of one person. After all we are building a nation and we have chosen democracy which thrives on Free-Speech. If someone feels the laws have breached, the law take its course.
Listen to idi*ot. People like you think Amidu is coming because of NDC. Wait and see what this perceived angel and arrogant man will do. Do you think age limits are set for the fun of it? No matter how well or poor presidents perform they can only serve two terms. If you say he is the best man for the jib then where are the men NPP claim to have?
Ghanaians will see through the NDC to find if they mean good for the nation. They are writing their own history
