NDC’s Felix Kwakye-Ofosu has fired back at Deputy Information Minister, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei, for her recent social media "attack" on ex-President John Dramani Mahama, calling on NDC supporters to ignore the “blockheaded” minister.
The Deputy Information Minister, in a Facebook post, severely criticized the former president for describing the Akufo-Addo led administration as “super incompetent” because it has failed to deliver on its promises.
Wa Unity Walk
While addressing party supporters on Saturday after a ‘unity walk’ in the Upper West Regional capital, Wa, former President Maham said despite the incompetence of the New Patriotic Party [NPP], the National Democratic Congress [NDC] will have to put in extra efforts to win the 2020 elections.
Joining the #Obinimstickerchallenge, John Mahama mockingly said the government needed an ‘Obinim sticker’ to perform.
“I have been watching social media lately and there’s something that has come, and I think it cures everything. It’s the Obinim sticker, the President and his government needs an Obinim sticker. If it really works, then I think they need the sticker. So I am saying that we cannot depend on their incompetence, we need to work hard to gain the support of the electorate,” Mahama said.
'More Competent Than An Odwan Funu'
But Nana Ama Dokua, in a sharp reply on Facebook, accused John Mahama of being a culprit of election malpractices not only in Ghana but in other nations where he [Mahama] served as an observer.
“After all the trail of embarrassments you brought back to Ghana recently, to remain relevant in Ghana politics, you describe President Akufo Addo today, as though you were talking about your own self. A president who may need an Obinim’s sticker is still 100% more competent than an odwan funu,” She wrote on her on Facebook wall.
Ama Dokua Is A Nonetity
Speaking to the issue on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, the former deputy Minister of Communications under the previous National Democratic Congress [NDC] government, Felix Kwakye-Ofosu wondered why Ghanaians would give space to someone who appears to have been relegated to the background in her ministerial role.
“Why should we even waste our time on someone who cannot construct good sentences? Read carefully what she posted on Facebook.”
“How on earth can an election observer rig an election? How is that possible? She’s misleading the public and it’s a shame. What she did was a terrible advertisement for the Akufo-Addo’s government. Until recently she wasn’t known but I wouldn’t be surprised if she is reshuffled. She is clearly a disaster as a Minister,” he told the sit-in host Mc-Jerry Agyemang.

why is he not in jail? NPP pls sit up and lock this guy up. for using our money to study
Felix Kwakye go and listen to Benita Sena Okity -Duah who was appointed by the NDC government as Deputy Minister of Gender & Children. Again, listen to Zita Okaikoi who was also made a minister in your era your era before insulting Ama Pokua. But how well do you speak English yourself Felix. You better stop those irrelevant remarks and help your party to regain that confidence the public had for you.
I wonder how many people write good and apt sentences in twits and chats. Most of them are bullet points and are not written in essay form. Kwakye ofosu, if you are looking to mark good english, go to the dept of linguistics in the universities. Empty barrel
Felix Kwakye should identify the mistakes in the lady's writing and correct them for all to see. It is not enough to say she cannot construct good sentences. Regurgitated arguments, Felix'S tool, do not equate to good English.
It is amazes me to know the people who are now calling people who can not construct good sentences nonentities in Ghana. What Felix doesnt realize is that he has insulted the majority of NDC members who have been voting for him and his likes to enjoy form the the largess of the state. We shall tell Ghanaians who can speak good english what the NDC thinks of them in 2020.
Honestly i listened to this lady the last time on Starrfm and it was a disaster guys..she was purely shallow and didn't even know what she was communicating to the public, Nana Dokua is a shame to the communications ministry. Its a shame to have people like her occupying positions of relevance. The interviewer bullied her all through the session bcoz of her ineptitude.
Good sentences? Aba! Aba! Do good sentences provide guarantee one wisdom.? Nyamsa yefanofie. You are one of the guys who contributed to NDC defeat due to your sour mouth. You stinkkk in your language and very arroganttt. I prefer bad sentences with and inherent respect and wisdom to good sentences with arroganceee. Adwaman ba like you. Aho0yaaa. Ohemaa Dokuaa go on
English, what about common sense , that is what the NDC is lacking
