The Central Regional chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) nearly fell into the tentacles of fraudsters.
Bernard Allotey Jacobs speaking on Peace FM ‘Kokrokoo’ progamme, recounted how he was nearly defrauded by a man named DCOP Oduro who claimed to be working with the Ghana Police Service.
According to him, "the person asked me to bring three people for peacekeeping…according to him, they did the same thing for NPP (when they were in opposition) and it is now time for NDC…I wasn’t smart, I should have known that with his bad English, it this was fake…."
Reports gathered indicate that these are but a few of the tricks fraudsters are using nowadays to trap their victims.
