The National Democratic Congress (NDC), on Saturday organized unity talks in the Kassena-Nankana Municipality in the Upper East Region with a call on newly elected executives to work hard to reclaim power from ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
The talks were initiated after the party successfully elected constituency executives to man its affairs and strengthen its support base at the grassroots in the Constituency.
Addressing Party members, Mr Richard Anontara the newly elected Navrongo Central constituency Chairman, congratulated colleague elected executives, and urged them to show commitment, and work diligently to reclaim power from incumbent NPP. “The NDC is the only party that is internally united, and has a strong camp” he added.
He expressed gratitude to the immediate past executives and called on them not to sit on the fence, but bring their experience to bear as part of measures to foster unity and make the party more attractive in the constituency.
According to him, “the super incompetent government, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will be out of power with a huge margin, and the elephant sent back to the bush come 2020”.
Dr Jacob Parethuga Anaonkara a Parliamentary aspirant hopeful, who called for unity among the rank and file of the party, expressed optimism that he would reclaim the Navrongo Central seat from the NPP.
He said the ruling NPP had brought untold hardships to constituents and in the country and further urged the executives to channel their efforts towards uniting the party for a better Ghana.

Eeeeiiii ! this defeat paaa de3 it's getting some people cra*zy papa # from unity walk to unity talk what a party in shambles # Abodam paaa nie # what is their next step of unity what? so these people were dis-united like that? I never knew ndc was divided like that no wonder their government was disfunctioned in power and their president was all over preaching there was no unity in the opposition NPP when in reality there was fire in the ndc. Thank God there was nothing like unity walk, unity talk, unity lunch, unity picnic, unity marathon hahaha hehehe, unity travel, unity tour in the NPP. Ndc rotten eggs in a basket!
Please, to the N D C , the unity walks are becoming too much, too many, it is high time they start organizing unity breakfast, unity lunch, unity supper at least for the party foot soldiers to also enjoy the loot which were denied them when the party was in power, all over the world war booty is shared, you win elections in Ghana and the war booty party start,Ghanaian politicians are same as vultures, any time rain beats the vulture, what come to mind immediately is to build a nest during the dry season, immediately the rain stops, it says ,when will this rain fall again, forget it,in Ghana, a certain January 7 is vultures day for the rains have stopped, a certain December 7 is voters day when the rains begin, only for vulture to know there was the need for a nest, this is what is happening to the N D C now, to the N P P, the sooner the make a nest now, the better, if not on December 7 ,2020, rain will beat them when no nest can be made, yooooooo, Currently N D C people are laughing at some N P P foot soldiers in certain areas who toiled a lot and so far seem to have been forgotten, even though N D C did same to their people.
Ghana politics/ politicians, when in opposition everybody matters, when in power it becomes a family and friends business, the very people you could not get close to when they were in power are now traveling at their own expense north, south, east, west, front and back organizing unity walks, bet me, if the get power today, they will go back to their old ways, they are all the same, currently people in power are distancing themselves from party foot soldiers whose toil put them where they are today, a certain December 7 will put matters to rest, the very yam you roast will make your month black, yooooooo, today there is no Stan Dogbe to stop Bagbin from seeing Mahama, at least not at the flagstaff house. To the N P P ,know that first ***barred word*** is not a ***barred word*** but second ***barred word*** is a big f-o-ol
