Former President John Dramani Mahama has expressed grief over the death of former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman of the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Alhaji Meijida Dramani.
Alhaji Meijida Dramani is a founding father of the NDC and was the first Bole-Bamboi Constituency Chairman of the party in 1992 and held the position for many years.
He played a crucial role in helping former President John Dramani Mahama to become MP in 1997.
"Condolences to the entire NDC family on the passing of our former Chairman of Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Alhaji Meijida Dramani. Alhaji Meijida was a founding member of the NDC and served as first Constituency Chairman of the NDC from 1992 to 2004. �May his soul rest in peace."
