Popular Man of God, Rev. Owusu Bempah, has alleged that some New Patriotic Party (NPP) members have dumped God and resorted to the practice of ‘Juju or occult’, now that they have won political power.

According to him, the party depended solely on God to wrest political power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, during the 2016 presidential elections.

The General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International has therefore warned that it would be suicidal for the party if they turned their back on God after He had secured power for them.

“Some of the NPP members have turned away from God and they are now consulting deities and smaller gods, who don’t have power, for protection and direction, and that is very dangerous.

“The party, during the opposition days, cried out to God Almighty for help and He responded to their cry by helping the NPP to win the polls so any attempt to bypass God for support from deities will affect the NPP”.

Speaking in an interview on radio, the man of God also slammed some party members, whom he claimed surround President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the Jubilee House, and are through their ‘ungodly acts’, preventing the president from delivering.

“Nana Akufo-Addo was chosen by God to lead this country into affluence but some people at the Jubilee House have almost hijacked the president and that is preventing him from delivering.

“These people always tell lies to the president and as a result of that, the president cannot perform as expected of him”, he lamented.

Rev. Owusu Bempah urged the President to start the reshuffle of his government from the ‘Jubilee House”, saying that some people at the presidency don’t deserve to be there.
