The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, has responded to claims by former President Mahama that the NPP, led by President Akufo-Addo, lied their way into power with lofty promises.
Mr. Antwi Boasiako, who was clearly not pleased with statement from the former presdient, minced no words describing him as a “pathological lair who has an insatiable hunger for lies”.
According to him, most promises made by the curent NPP administration prior to the 2016 elections, were being fulfilled and not deceptive promises.
Ex-president Mahama is reported to have told a gathering of NDC delegates at the Wa Campus of the University for Development Studies that it is not in his nature, to hoodwink Ghanaians with promises just so he can win power.
He again told the delegates that the NPP after lying to win political power in 2016 are not able to fulfill their promises to Ghanaians.
The former president mentioned that the one district one factory, one village one dam, one bar of chocolate per school child and providing jobs for all, among many other unfulfilled promises.
But Mr. Antwi Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi, rubbished the above claims by Mr. Mahama, indicating that the Akufo-Addo led government, has released GH¢465 million for the commencement of the one-district-one-factory project.
He added that government has also released GH¢256 million for the revamping of 100 private commercially viable and distressed companies throughout the country.
On the one village one dam project, Chairman Wontumi explained that already, contractors have been issued appointment letters to go and construct 570 dams to aid agricultural work in the country.
He therefore admonished the former president to learn to appreaciate the efforts President Akufo-Addo has invested to revive a dead economy he left behind.

Time will tell. NPP should listen to Mahama unnecessary criticisms and and turn all stones to do their best to fulfill their mandate and in 2020, Mahama and his NDC will be cut to sizes to reduce them to nothing.
Mahama promised one-time premium payment for NHIS. What happened. Were you a liar then?
We all need a dream. It doesn’t need to be a HUGE DREAM. We don’t need to become King of the World. Or even King of our own neighborhood. We don’t need to be famous, rich, or powerful. We won’t need a statue built to our legacy or a big building with our name on it. But we DO want to pursue our dream—no matter how large or small it may be. Our dream will encourage us when we’re down. It will provide us direction when we lose our way. It will provide a horizon to move toward. In a word, it will keep us moving forward when we want to quit.Nana Addo Dream Small wai
