Brigadier General Joseph Nunoo-Mensah, says he is struggling to understand why former President John Mahama wants to contest for the presidency again after losing the seat to President Akufo Addo in 2016.
He believes the ex-president has had his time to serve the country and should have taken a back seat rather than attempting to take over the reins of power again.
Speaking on Kasapa Friday, Mr. Mensah said “I’m trying to understand why Mahama wants to comeback that am struggling to understand. This same Ghanaians rejected you two years ago, have you done an opinion poll to know if their minds have changed?”
While acknowledging the former President’s successes in the highest office of the land, the former National Security Advisor maintained that it would only be expedient for the former President to rethink his decision for the contest.
“You see, this world you will come and do some and leave others to continue. To me am struggling to find the basis for him wanting to come back. The election results was brutal against the NDC” he said.
Meanwhile he has slammed the Akufo Addo government for under-performing in the last two years considering the mouthwatering promises they made to the people of Ghana.
According to him, policies such as the free SHS continues to be faced with challenges, creating so much difficulty for parents and school authorities.
“I know Akufo Addo very well. I want him to succeed but what is going on is making life difficult for everyone. With free shs, I was at Oreilly two days ago, amd this children I think there is something wrong with the system, no one is listening, there is no impress. There is no money to fund the project but you still want to do it, then if you are doing it, do it well. So far one village one dam, can you make a dam without water, you need a borehole to pump water from the ground to fill the dam but all of these are too much talks” he said.

Gen. Nunoo Mensah. The simple answer to your question or doubt is GREED. Super greed and unrefined greed. Surrounded by b---a-d advisors and hangers on who sing his praises like he is the best thing that ever happened since sliced bread. JDM though a fine man, he has lost his mojo and credibility with his failure to control the corrupt practices of his apointees.
Mahama has nothing to offer ghanaians wow, very funny. I know of E-blocks (Unprecedented), I know of Ridge hospital and others and hundreds of chip compounds, and and and and and and and many I can't mention, terminal three wow hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Ghana indeed needs mahama again. This time he is coming like storm.
What don't you get? It is pure greed. He feels he did not maximise the opportunity he had to grab, so he now hopes to come back and just grab, make himself and his family comfortable for years to come. That is all. Mahama has nothing to offer Ghanaians again.
Genearly Nunoo Mensah is an opportunist. PLEASE GO TO HELL. YOU WISHED YOU COULD BE PRESIDENT OF GHANA BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT IS NOT IN YOUR STARS.
I think you people should leave that for the voters to decide don't bother or worry your minds, after three times of unsuccessfulness to win the Presidency why didn't you folks advice Nana Addo not to contest again. Ghanaians have been ***barred word*** into believing that those juicy promises would be fulfilled and having noticed the insincerity of the NPP they are encountering John Mahatma to contest. Just watch his crowd as just an opposition Presidential aspirant.
As for JDM Dierr, He thinks Ghana is for him alone. He alone wants to chop all the goodies of the country. let others too come and chop some you say no. aaaba. afterall, politics in gh is about choping our resources so if you come chop small aaa, let others too come chop some wai.
He is the only one with the cash to burn. The money he stole from the people through contract padding,10% and so many dubious avenues. He will see his smoothnes level come 2020. Ali Babaand the 40 ***barred word***
JDM's second defeat is also eminent
Please. Oluu, JDM's second coming is a mystery! so stop "killing" yourself to understand why.
