The National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sammi Awuku believes the year 2019 will be a better year for Ghanaians following the foundation laid by the government.
He says he is confident in the ability of the president, H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo to deliver prosperity to the Ghanaian people through sound economic policies.
In a post on his Facebook wall, he explained that this morning, they took their campaign to the streets of ayawaso West Wuogon constituency and that he believses the people of Ghana will buy their candidate, madam Lydia Syram Alhassan who they have been marketing.

On his facebook handle, he posted ,
This Morning we took our campaign to the streets of the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency to introduce and market our Candidate Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan.
We also took the opportunity to propagate the good works of our government to the people.
2019 is definitely a great year for many Ghanaians if not all. It is a year that will see many young people getting jobs. I am confident in H.E Nana Addo and his ability to deliver Prosperity to the Ghanaian people through sound economic policies.

I think it is fair for someone else to also be elected to be the mp for this constituency. The constituency is not the personal property of the agyarko family. The fact that the house was the mp doesn't give her the entitlement to also take over. I am not sure she ever thought of becoming an mp any day. Sympathy is good when someone dies and we visit the family to commiserate with them, but election is not something that we use sympathy as yardstick. The husband is not even buried yet she thinks it's wise to take over his seat. Who does that?
