The disjointed member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dela Coffie has described the leadership of the party as a failure for not being strategic enough to gather political intelligence on how to conduct elections.
According to him in a Facebook post, the leadership of the NDC has failed the party and left it badly exposed as they have reduced the party's intelligence gathering to mere slogan like "Bobolibobo"; thus, "political strategy is not a walk in the park or picking flowers in a garden".
He insisted that the event which took place at Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election and the subsequent verbal withdrawal from the election process by the NDC is a clear leadership failure; reiterating that the NDC went into the by-election without any contingency measures to deal with the excesses associated with such exercise.

Well, well, well. We saw it coming, didn't we? At least some of us have made the point time and again that there is more to election strategy and political intelligence gathering than mere sloganeering and "Bobolibobo." Yes, political strategy is not a walk in the park or picking flowers in a garden. Fellas don't get it and they will never do.
Events at Ayawaso West Wagon earlier today and subsequent verbal withdrawal from the process by the NDC is a clear leadership failure.
Leadership has failed the NDC and left the party badly exposed.
The NDC went into this elections without any contingency measures to deal with the excesses associated with such exercise. There was no clear cut security readiness and preparedness for this election.
Let the record show that even as at yesterday while the NPP bigshots were on the ground scheaming, the entire Functional Executive Committee members of the NDC led by the National Chairman were on radio rabble-rousing. The result is what we witnessed today.
The NDC leadership lacks the tradition of the organization of intelligence gathering and strategies. Most people that have common sense and a brain knows the dynamics of by-elections and Ayawaso West Wagon is no exception. But NDC leaders clearly went into a gun battle wielding bread knife, and by simply allowing intimidation to force a whole NDC with it's revolutionary background to withdraw from this by-elections tells you the party is not ready to win any future elections in Ghana.
The NPP on the other has proven that they have the capacity to win any elections by every means possible.
And just so you know, this is just a dress rehearsal for 2020. We must as well boycott 2020 too in advance and continue to dance to "Bobolibobo."
God save us all...

From day one ndc wasn't prepared for the election bcos their behavior shows the leader are weak as for Ofosu Ampofo all that he need is to pocket the campaign money that all you will be in onaapo opposition for a long time
NYEME NYA BE EDZOR MOVI NENEMA OOHH DE?DELA, YAKAME, YAKAME,FIAFI,***barred word*** NENYE PAAAAAAA.
I suggest when such thing happens "losing MP" let the party on the seat organize and bring replacement than EC wasting a lot money on by -elections.
I am not a politician though but a side with Della's analysis. On Wednesday from about 4pm-7pm on various radio stations, i heard NDC spokes person including Otukonor (Deputy GS) speaking on the by-election at Ayawaso West Wugon. To my amazement, i dont recalled hearing any of them either articulating their parliamentary candidate's (PC) clear cut message (policy) or even urging the electorate to vote for him. What i heard amongst others were 'the NPP are working with the EC to rage the election', the Prez & EC boss are going to steal the by-election, 'we cannot guarantee the safety of anyone who is not a voter who comes around', 'we will much the NPP boot-4-tboot', 'the NPP shouldn't there make any attempt or else they will regret', 'let me warn Nana Addo and his NPP', 'Ghanaians are tired of the Nana Addo/NPP', 'people of Ayawaso will show Nana Addo/NPP that they are super incompetent', 'Nana Addo/NPP have come to steal Ghana money & chopping it left-right-centre' including some unprintable words. For me the NDC may have done better if they have spent their time & energy in selling their candidate rather than preaching 'retaliation'. I respectfully think the party (NDC) rather concentrated on issue warning instead of telling the electorate why their candidate was the best. WHO IS DISTURBING THE NATION?
I don't blame him. After defrauding people, the state has refused to arrest him to stand trial. Why, because he enjoys the support of this government.
Well said Delay Kofi. You are very intelligent, keep it up. Let them continue to dance to mahama''s bobolibobo
