Member of Parliament for Yapei/Kusawgu in the Northern Region, Hon John Jinapor has expressed no confidence in a Commission of Inquiry set up by President Akufo-Addo to investigate the violence that rocked the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election.
The President is reported to have established a Commission of Inquiry to bring a lasting solution to the issue. The 3member commission was sworn into office Friday Morning.
Making his submissions on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Hon. Jinapor told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that getting to the bottom of the violence that rocked the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election, has nothing to do with a Commission of Inquiry.
According to him, his party - the National Democratic Congress (NDC) - has no interest in the Commission, but rather want to see the appropriate institution picking up the perpetrators of the heinous attacks on some electorates during the elections.
The electorates who are said to be primarily members of the NDC sustained gun-shot injuries from a shooting incident at the Bawaleshie polling station with the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
John Jinapor therefore asked the government to demonstrate its commitment to resolving the issue by apprehending the perpetrators.
“Their pictures are there. There’s video evidence and so forth. If this government wanted to fight that crime, they should have picked those people by now and charged them. That has nothing to do with Commission of Inquiry. Absolutely nothing!" he fumed.

Mr. Yapei/Kusawgu MP, no wonder you are of the NDC! When lucid minds are talking of how to solve a problem how dare you interfere? Tell me one problem the (P)NDC has been able to solve in Ghana since its inception in 1982? When you guys arrested about 22 people from Tamale/Yend in 2009 on the Yana's death, including a 6 years old boy at the time of the incident, what problem did that solve? All you know is Rambo-style movie behaviours and actions which don't work in real life. Your actions usually tantamount to blowing away the smoke with the aim of quenching the fire! The Commission of Inquiry on the other hand, will go to the roots of the problem, including major actors and so on, and eventually give recommendations to manage it, and if possible solve it permanently. Please, let great minds manage Ghana in peace!
Imposter never use the initials JJ to confuse people. There is only one J.J Rawlings and forever remain only J.J in the annals political history of Ghana. If you want fame behave properly and serve mother Ghana. You have so many dubious and corruption on your hands.Papa J is resting with his grand children, never come close to that initials, it is sacred.

The above is a statement from MP John JInapor, fair. If pictures are anything good to go by, why couldn't his administration arrest the Cheriponi shooter? Cheriponi shootyer picture was clearly captured all over the place. Abdulai Naaba picture was all over the place but yet wasn't arrested. Can he tell us why? He was working at the Flag Staff house at that time. You're asking this regime to do what your administration refused to do. Isn't the political violence game both parties are playing?
What happened to the Cheriponi shooter? What happened to Abdulai Naaba, the brother of Coulins Dauda? What happened to the Asunafo political murderer found under the bed in a government allocated bungalow to your bloody mp, Eric Opoku? Did you arrest them? When are you going to arrest them? You guys from both parties are cowards, liars and hypocrites, period. We need an independent IGP with a constitutional protection similar to that of the Chief Justice, who can't be fired at will to do his job with fears. Shame on you. You're a joke.
J.J, go to Talensi, Akwatia, Let My Vote Count, and all other places where NDC unleash violence on NPP Supporters, the pictures are there. go and arrest NDC foot-soldiers too. please, where is Collins Dauda's Brother?
