A flagbearer aspirant of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Goosie Tanoh says vote buying is likely to dominate the NDC’s upcoming flagbearership race on February 23.
He however charged delegates to vote ‘wisely’ for the one “who is capable to lead the NDC” into victory come 2020 and not the candidate who will influence them with money and goodies.
“Do not vote for someone because you’ve been given GHS200 or GHS50 because you may vote for the person based on the money you were given and not on a track record.”
“You may stock your room with the money you’ve been given or stock your room with bags of rice given to you by some individuals to vote for a particular candidate, but the items will not last forever.”
“You will then call the person on phone and he will pretend as if he does not know you and drop the line on you. So vote wisely, vote Goosie Tanoh to bring you jobs, food security universal affordable healthcare, social housing and policies that would improve your living condition,” he said in an interview with Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen

What does this man take the NDC voters for? Over 20,000 NDC members will be voting. So does he mean that a candidate is able to bribe all these members? What kind of thinking is this? Preparing the grounds to claim someone bribed the delegates. I'm eve wondering who will vote for you.
And what’s your track record? I don’t know any apart from you breaking away. I hope you will not attempt that this time round as you crash on the 23rd
No wonder, NDC, as usual, messing up among themselves. Credibility in all sphere of the NDC's political life is a weird word. The NDC as a political Party has no responsible tradition which portrays clear values of true democracy. It is all about lies and bullying in any form to get political power, be it rigging elections or murdering to maintain power, NDC has them in her drawers. Buying votes with bags of rice is certainly the least. Asem s€ b€!!
