The Assin Central legislator, Kennedy Agyapong has been asked by parliament to apologize to the house and also put up a good behaviour.
This comes after the Privileges Committee recommended to parliament to either suspend or reprimand the lawmaker for referring to the House as useless in a TV interview.
Joy News’ Parliamentary correspondent, Joseph Opoku Gakpo reported on Asempa FM’s 'Ekosii Sen' political program that, parliament concluded that Kennedy Agyapong was “wrong” with his choice of words.
He said the speakers asked him to apologize to the house and “go and sin no more”.
Minority Chief Whip, Muntaka Mubarak petitioned Parliament last year for action to be taken against Mr. Agyapong for allegedly describing the House as useless in a TV interview, a charge the MP denies.
Mr Agyapong was responding to comments by a New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional executive’s comment on the Anas exposé.
He contended that Muntaka Mubarak’s referral was based on comments taken out of context.
Kennedy Agyapong had described Muntaka Mubarak as dumb for referring him to Parliament’s Privileges Committee over the purported insult.
Mr Mubarak insisted that Assin Central MP’s conduct was unfit for someone in the legislature.
After being queried during the committee sittings, Mr Agyapong apologised for making contemptuous comments about the legislature in public.

My Mentor and Prince, i trust your honesty. We thank the parliament for this honourable decision. Mr. Ken. Akompreko Tutugyagu Kakapeipei Agyapong we are strongly behind you like the Great Chinese wall, keep the light(Truth) and nature will always be by your side. well done Nana Kakapeipei Tutugyagu Akompreko Agyapong. God bless our country Ghana.
Hon Ken Agyepong, please go and sin more especially when your colleagues in parliament do not want to know the truth. Discerning Ghanaians believe in your course and will back you. Do not give especially when your own NPP colleagues pander to the diabolic whims of the NDC. When Muntaka steals state money and also l1es blatantly about Hansim Morton's Millennium Excellence Foundation, he wasn't dragged to the ***barred word*** privileges committee. When he insults the speaker, he is not hauled before the privileges committee. When Haruna Idrisu and co d1shonestly steal states money through claiming double salaries, nothing is done to them. Indeed and In fact this parliament is ***barred word*** and not fit for purpose. Osei Kyei Mensah should continue being a tin god. Long live Ken Agyepong.
If we had honest legislators as Ken, we will go a long way to develop mother Ghana.Hon. Ken, please tone down cos the silent majority loves you.You are a hero
He will keep insulting because there is no man in Ghana to say the truth to him.
