Former Attorney General in John Mahama's administration, Betty Mould-Iddrisu has called on members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to rally behind any candidate who is elected to lead the party in the ongoing NDC Primaries.
Speaking to UTV’s reporter from the party’s National Headquarters, Betty Mould-Iddrisu was optimistic no violence will break out during the primaries in any of the constituencies where the elections are being held to elect a Presidential candidate for the party.
Seven candidates are vying for the position but at the end of the day, there will be one person to become the party’s flag bearer.
Betty Mould-Iddrisu advised the party to “rally behind the party. By the end of this, we will have one person who comes out as a victor and he will lead us to a certain kind of victory, 2020”.
