The Member of Parliament for Kumbungu constituency, Ras Mubarak says Ghanaians are unpatriotic and apostate.
According to him, the attitude and hypocrisy of some Ghanaians sometimes expose them of their true love for this country.
Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he appealed to our leaders to allow the laws of the country to work without any interference.
He stated that "if a traffic defaulter is arrested for instance, it only takes a call from that Pastor, Politician, Chief or a high profile member in the country to plead on the person’s behalf".
He stressed that to him, it is not right and must be stopped immediately.
“We should not entertain this . . . when the Police decide to enforce the law then the Pastors, Politicians and Chiefs will call to beg on their behalf . . . if you break the law you face the consequences thereof," he said.
He reiterated that “there is too much lawlessness in this country . . . now the police are being beaten up . . . we have gotten to a stage where nothing works . . . we should be mindful of everything that we do."
“I, for instance, if a motor rider refuses to wear a helmet for his or her own safety and later arrested I have promised myself not to plead for such a person but allow the law to take it course."
"I have stopped pleading for wrongdoers," he stressed.

As if he's not the leading hypocrite. His hypocrisy is what made him ride a bicycle in the morning, in protest against hardship in Gh but went home in the evening with UBER. The next day he drove in V8.
IF ALL POLITICIAN WILL SPEAK DIRECTLY TO PROBLEMS WE HAVE AS A COUNTRY AND HELP THE POLICE TO MAINTAIN LAW AND ORDER WE WOULD HAVE BEEN WHERE WE ARE TODAY. RAS, WE HOPE YOU CAN NOW SEE THAT GLOOMY FUTURE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION. LAWLESSNESS ALL OVER AND EVERYBODY IS IN A RUSH AS IF TOLD THAT CHRIST IS COMING TOMORROW. LET COOL THE TEMPO AND BEGIN AFRESH IN OUR OWN INTEREST AND FOR MOTHER GHANA
You have been part of the problem. Do you want me to remind you of your own INDISCIPLINE? During the 2012 elections, you went to the collation center in Accra with THUGS and burnt ballot papers. As ***barred word*** minded as you are, today you sit in Parliament and pretend that the problem is with others.
