Contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Kwesi Pratt said the Commission needs to give some level of respect to Ghanaians and not only political parties because 'every Ghanaian matters'.
According to him, "every Ghanaian opinion is important; not just political parties . . . Ghanaians have the power to bring another body other than the EC to supervise the elections . . . and so they should speak with some level of decorum and respect; to say nobody can tell you what to do is in bad taste . . . he should learn a lesson from this . . . "

WHEN I LISTENED TO DR. BOSSMAN HE WAS RIGHT IN EVERYTHING BUT ONE. HE SAID BEFORE COMING TO EC HE WAS TEACHING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GHANA. I DON'T GET THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STATEMENT TO HIS ARGUMENT ABOUT THE NEW REGISTER. HIS REACTION TO HIS CRITICS WAS NOT WELL MEASURED. E.G. ON THE QUESTION OF POLITICAL PARTIES AT IPAC BEING ADVISORY BODY. IT IS THE PLAIN TRUTH BUT SHOULD BE APPLIED IN CONTEXT, WHEN NEEDED. IT MUST NOT BE MENTIONED IN A RUSH WHEN IT IS UNCALLED FOR. IN THIS MATTER, IT WAS SUFFICIENT FOR HIM TO STATE THAT THE MATTER WAS MENTIONED AT IPAC AND NOBODY OBJECTED, SO IT WAS ADMITTED ON THE PRINCIPLE THAT SILENCE MEANS CONSENT. MY ADVICE TO HIM AND ALL AT EC IS THAT THEY MUST KEEP THEIR COMPOSURE WHEN DEALING WITH POLITICAL PARTIES. SOME OF THEM ARE VERY STRANGE. THEY HAVE LOST CREDIBILITY AND WANTS TO DRAG EVERYBODY INTO THE GUTTER WITH THEM. THEY ATTACK TO DESTABILIZE FOR ONE TO LOSE BEARING. IT IS THEIR NATURE AND MODE OF OPERATION.
KWESI PRATT WE CANNOT HAVE MEETING OF ALL GHANAIANS. WE SHALL ALWAYS HAVE THE PARLIAMENT, THE EXECUTIVES, OPINION LEADERS, THE CIVIL SOCIETY, IPAC, AND SPECIFIC INSTITUTIONS TO SPEAK FOR THE NATION ON SOME MATTERS. IF YOU GET THE OPPORTUNITY GRAB IT USE IT WELL. FROM HANSARD OF IPAC MEETING NEW VOTERS REGISTER WAS MENTIONED BY EC, AS REVEALED BY KWAKU BARKO . AT LEAST, ONE PERSON ASKED A QUESTION ABOUT IT FOR EC TO CLARIFIED. IF NO OBJECTION WAS RAISED WHERE COMES THE CLAIM THAT IT WAS NOT DISCUSSED AT THE MEETING. DO WE NEED TO ARGUE ABOUT EVERY ITEM AT MEETING TO BECOME ACCEPTED WHEN THE MATTER IS OBVIOUS AND CLEAR. WHY WASTE TIME ON ISSUES WHICH REQUIRE NO DEBATE? TIME IS MONEY AND WE MUST LEARN TO CHERISH IT AT MEETINGS. SHAME TO ELVIS AFRIYIE ANKRAH FOR THE MISINFORMATION TO HIS PARTY AND GHANAIANS. AND IT IS MORE SHAMEFUL FOR HIM TO ATTACK DR. BOSSMAN. ELVIS HAS BETRAYED HIMSELF AS DUMP AND NOT BEING SMART. HE FAILED TO SPEAK AT THE ISSUE AT MEETING WHEN NOBODY WOULD HAVE STOPPED HIM. HE RATHER CHOOSES THE MEDIA TO GIVE HIS OPINION AND ATTACKS UNJUSTIFIABLY. HE IS DISHONEST AND THEREFORE CORRUPT. NO WONDER HE WAS DISMISSED FROM MINISTERIAL POSITION.
Typical classroom PHD, instead of studying and analyzing the issues before commenting, he is stupiidly and arrogantly exposing himself. ghana is not an advanced country or developed to the extent of using textbook to administer. VC is an example of phd ***barred word*** that will always blow hot air to issues.
