The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram constituency, Sam George is pleading with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to act with urgency on the report from the Emile Short Commission.
According to him, details of the report will help in the fight against vigilantism, something he wants to see an end to ahead of the 2020 election.
Sam George has joined many within the NDC who are pressuring the President to make public details of the report after the Commission's handover.
But, Director of Communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin, has disclosed that President Akufo-Addo will not be pressured into taking a decision about the report from the Emile Short Commission.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, the NDC lawmaker said “The President is keeping us all waiting. He should act on the report with urgency.”

You are the cause of Emil Short Commission being not yet public because you mobilized vigilantes to Ayawaso West Wagoon. It is for your good that the report is not yet public. Because of your lying attitude and actions at the Ayawaso Election, the report cannot be authentic and complete without a sanction against you.
NDC IS BECOMING A PARTY OF JOKERS. THEY RUSHED TO TAKE UNREASONABLE DECISIONS AND THEN COIL BACK. THEY HAVE LEADERSHIP THAT ACTS AS CHILDREN ALWAYS EATING UP THEIR VOMIT. ITS SAD THAT SUCH A PARTY RULED US FOR 8 YEARS , NO DOUBT WE ARE WHERE WE ARE.
Is this coming from Sam George the NDC MP? This NDC people are a CURSE to Ghana! Are they not the same people who said that Nana Addo is just setting up the commission just to cover up as their Mahama did? And for that maater they will NOT cooperate with the commission? SHAME on NDC!
