NDC’s Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu constituency, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini has made some serious allegation of how a former Minister of State at the Office of the President, Rockson Bukari was forced to vacate his office after an alleged bribery exposé.
A visibly incensed Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini, vented his spleen on the Nana Addo-led government in an interview on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, accusing the current administration of using Northerners in his administration as ‘scapegoats’ to protect others.
He described as "crass" and illogical, the continued presence in office of the embattled former Executive-Secretary Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), Charles Bissue after his role in a damaging galamsey fraud case.
“This government thinks we [Ghanaians] are fools to believe all the trash they are telling us . . .That man [Charles Bissue] is still in office, they didn't ask him to go. What he did is worse than Rockson Bukari . . . some other person they will carry him out of office because he is from the northern part of the country,” he alleged.

Rockson Bukari’s exposé
Rockson Bukari was caught on tape trying to prevent the Starr FM Upper East region correspondent from publishing a damning story against a Chinese mining company when he was the Upper East regional minister.
Mr. Bukari allegedly tried bribing the journalist with GH¢5,000 cash in a brown envelope and a brand new motorbike to stop the story from going public.
The regional minister was reassigned to the presidency when the story first made waves in 2018, but after it resurfaced Mr Bukari who failed to convince Ghanaians that he was trying to make peace and not bribe the journalist has resigned.
Mr Charles Bisiw exposé
Award winning investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas presented visuals of the role played by Secretary to the Inter-ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), Charles Cromwell Bissue in his undercover piece, ‘Galamsey Fraud’.
Mr. Bissue was among several others caught on camera by the Tiger Eye PI team stabbing government’s fight against illegal mining popularly known as ‘Galamsey’ in the back.
He has denied any wrongdoing and emphatically stated that “I have taken notice of the contents of the latest documentary by Tiger Eye P.I., titled ‘Galamsey Fraud.’ I would like to state, at the very outset, that I am innocent of the allegations leveled against me in the documentary, as I was not and have not been engaged in any acts of corruption, criminality or misconduct.”
But Anas in a post on Facebook, insist that the Presidential Staffer indeed abused his office as there are hard facts against him.
According to the undercover journalist, Mr. Bissue used his office to engage in bribery and corruption to enrich himself.
Despite calls on Mr. Bissue to resign, he is reportedly still at post.

Where is Muntaka? The MP for Asawase. He is fond of reporting people in Parliament. This is the time he has to report ABA Fuseini to the Parliamentary Privileges Committee for making such unwarranted and unguarded statement. ABA Fuseini must bow down his head in shame. I remember how he chastised the former Deputy Minister for Agriculture for making a statement which was deemed to unfavorable to our Northern brothers. He deserves to be treated the same way. This is how the NDC reduces its votes.
In fact the people of Sagnarigu constituency has another opportunity in 2020 to make a choice as to who represents them. It doesn't look good to have a representative of parliament always make a statements very loosely such that one is tempted to conclude or equate him to a serial caller. Someone should draw his attention that his position as MP is a revered one and ought to seen as that. Why did he not go to parliament to meet Hon. Haruna and co?. I haven't heard Hon. Haruna make statement so disparaging and belittling like this.He should learn from those MPs and am sure he will do good to his constituents. Am afraid no young guy from the northern part would want to take this guy as his role model at all. No no no no
So with all your education and working for the media this is what you can come from your mouth? Your unfortunate brother and sisters who have not had the chance to taste education look up to you and this is what you offer them! No wonder the northern part of Ghana is always in turmoil.
When an MP speaks like a serial caller.. You are an idiotic bushiatic ***barred word***. An apology to nature... Your ethnocentric idiocyncrasies are nothing but a shame to your political party.
Some of this northerners think we are ***barred word***. When they are found wanting and relieved of their posts they begin playing the tribal card.
Has never said anything sensible politically.
Nkwasia keka...
very good you people on this platform have really dealt with this nincompoop of an MP, what is wrong with these ndc loose talkers they are so desperate so they talk anyhow but the more they say these things the more it keep them in opposition
Yiee, NDC and ethnocentrism de3 is like body and cloth.
Just another display of foetal mentality by a cos90 NDC official
