NPP’s Nasara Coordinator for Asante Ayem-North, Alhaji Issaka Suleman has disclosed that the Agogo Zongo Community had earlier warned their Member of Parliament [MP] but “he did not listen”.
According to him, the community is “not happy” with Andy Appiah-Kubi over failed promises for the past years.
“They are very angry with the MP but we hope to solve this issues soon,” he said in an interview on NEAT FM’s morning show 'Ghana Montie'.
The indigenes of Agogo Zongo Community in the Asante Akim North Municipality of the Ashanti Region on Saturday, June 1, 2019 rejected gifts from the MP for the area, Andy Appiah-Kubi over failed promises.
The MP had dispatched a pick up load of items to be given to the Muslims who are expected to climax this year’s Ramadan on Wednesday June 5, 2019.
