The Women’s wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party [NPP] in the Central Region has vowed to win all 23 seats for the party in the region.
The group made known during its regional women’s conference held in Mankesim, Sunday, October 13, 2019.
The conference was spearheaded by the regional women’s organizer, Madam Charlotte Adwoa Antwi under the theme – ‘Agenda 23 Seats In Central Region’.
Addressing the gathering, the National Women’s Organizer of the ‘Elephant’ party, Madam Kate Gyamfua lauded the group for their initiative and urged them to achieve their target in the 2020 election.
According to her, “women play a very pivotal role in politics and in all aspects, therefore they must be encouraged.”
The conference was graced by other key members of the NPP in the region.
