President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been advised to convene a "non-partisan emergency rescue forum" to save the cedi from further depreciation.
Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa in a tweet says the President needs to call off his regional tours because there's a "major national security threat" (cedi fall).
In addition, he insists the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta must go; a call President Akufo-Addo disagrees with.

“The total crash of the Cedi must be seen as a major National Security threat. President Akufo-Addo should immediately suspend his regional booing tours, sack his Finance Minister, dissolve his failed EMT & convene a non-partisan emergency economic rescue forum to harvest fresh ideas.”

Looking at where Ghana is now, Ghanaians should just assume they is no president, no minister or MMDCE and pray for 2024 to come quick for the man to go, that's all. Ghana is currently on auto pilot. Let's forget we have a president and his pointees for now and go about our activities like we were doing before the Portuguese, Danes and British arrived in the Gold Coast. Currently No politician goes to bed thinking of what to do to make Ghana Better. They are in to loot and share. In Ghana this is what politics means. ie get power, bring in family and friends and look for opportunities to create, loot and share.
Talk is cheap! When you were given the chance from 2009-2016 what did you do? 1. You got married using state resources 2.. you told us cash given to you was stolen when you went to the car wash 3… Give us a break!
