They should lose their pay for any time they don't attend parliament. That will teach them sense.
Usel.1ess NDC opposition. You these (P)NDC people have destroyed our country and enrihed yourselves. That is why we are where we are because you lots. F0.ols. When he is sent to prison go and join him. No wonder you guys killed our judges in the 1980s through yiour ev!l revolution. shamelless !d!ots
Much as I wish the attorney general stops this case, the usual takashi patapaa politics is not the way to go by. These people should know that they can loose the goodwill they are having now if they want to go this way.
Hmmmnnn, the NDC seems to be enjoying a field day. Why not, from the NPP's 169 MP's in 2016 to 137 in 2020 with the NDC having the firm belief that they were robbed of some seats in addition to having one of their own as the speaker the first of it's kind since the inception of the 4th republic, why won't they be doing as they wish, issuing threats left and right. In all these the NPP leadership of today have themselves to blame. When party supporters tell you they don't want somebody don't impose that person on the constituency. This unpopular person may win the primaries because the numbers may be relatively few compared to the general elections where every registered voter is a delegate. If the NPP supporters decide not to vote for the party's candidate in the general elections, there is nothing anybody can do about it. In Fact you will only get to know they have rejected their own candidate after counting of the ballot. Again the NPP leadership should know that you can have a very intelligent and hardworking person in government who may not be popular at the local local or constituency level. If you impose such a person on the people by assisting him or her with resources to win the primaries, when it comes to the general elections the people will collect whatever he or she brings and still refuse to vote for that person. We have ministers and MMDCEs in the current NPP who cannot win their polling stations for the party not to talk of the constituency . Hope the impending parliamentary primaries will be devoid of imposing candidates on people, if they attempt it the current 137 seats they are sweating with in parliament will reduce further. If you are a minister, MMDCE or CEO in the NPP government, just ask yourself, but for the independent member for Fomena how will parliament look like had he decided to join the NDC side in the house if he were to consider the utterances of people who should know better. Hear someone " any npp member who goes independent is not a true NPP , i can't work with him, i can't work with him, if you are true NPP you won't go independent ". This person however failed to add that even if you are the popular choice of your constituents and not the party, don't go independent, let the unpopular NPP candidate contest and lose the seat for the NDC to win. Today the rejected stone is now the head of cornerstone. Hmmmnnn.
Ghanaians will not do anything to them thats why they continue behaving like this. Ghanaians will rather take to the street whenever their favourite parties lose election. How dare you waste the tax payers money on your selfish interests? Elsewhere, you will cease to be an MP again after this action because the citizens will give you heat.
The PNDC/NDC guys have been lawless since the early 1980s. They are the main reason why the country is where it is today. I wonder if they will ever change.
Congrats NDC🙏🏿 When JDM (Judgment Debt Manager) loses the 2024 General Elections he should not blame the EC and also go round burning tyres.
Tax payers money being wasted left right center. Mother Ghana NPP, NDC. This your wrangles won't take us anywhere. It's not about development anymore but show of who's who. How I hope that Politicians will talk about development and how this poor country's problems will be tackled. Everything now is about show of power between 2 political parties. I wish some of you will come out to showcase businesses that you've set up to tackle this youth unemployment. We need policies to tackle the country's economic woes but not fighting between NPP and NDC. Afterall it's the resources that have made some of you who have never worked who you are now. Professional Politicians.
Look at the person talking? What about you? You are also in court, so parliament should not sit anytime you go to court. When he is jailed, minority should join him in prison.
How did we get here? Meaning NDC MPS will not go to parliament again if Honorable Quason is thrown into jail until he is released right?
