NDC’s flagbearer, Mr. John Dramani Mahama’s quest to be president again, has been questioned by the Overlord of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Abubakari Mahama II.
According to the overlord of Dagbon, the former president, if elected, should focus on developing Ghana rather than enriching himself.
He also advised a regular reshuffle in Mahama’s government if he got the nod to lead Ghana again.
“I believe you are not coming to make more money for your family but to leave a legacy that your children will not only be proud of but will pave a way for them wherever they find themselves in future when you are long gone to your maker,” he said in a speech read on his behalf during a courtesy call on him by former President Mahama as part of his ‘Building Ghana Tour'.
Adding that, “To make this legacy a reality, when you get the nod from Ghanaians, do not shy away from reshuffling your team to get the right ones on board by merit and confidence and lay off even loyalists but misfits who will only churn out mediocrity for your government.”

With sober reflection heading into the general elections in 2024, the majority of the electorate might ask this serious and nagging question, what is in the Jubilee house that makes Mahama so desperate to occupy again? The unpopular Akuffu Addo is not going to be on the ballot box. The immaculate, most abused but not one corruption charge against this eloquent, intellectually gifted man is on the ballot box for the grand old party. Interesting times ahead.
@Kwadwo, you should be respectful to Lordina, the former First Lady. She is quiet, graceful and kind hearted lady. As for President Mahama wanting to come back to the Jubilee house, your guesses are correct like mine.
THE WISE KING HAS SPOKEN WITH A VERY SENSIBLE QUESTION
Oh yeah Yaanaa, His main aim is to make more money for himself and family what else. First he still takes monthly salary plus all the goodies that come with been a former president. So the only thing motivating is to make millions of dollars for his family. He has no empathy for the Ghanaian because he already said he is a ***barred word*** to the plights of Ghanaians. He is only driven by making money for himself and family.
Ya- naa paaaaa, bet me, the man heard you alright but was not listening . Politics in Ghana is big time business. You think the man will spend millions of Ghana cedis moving round just to get power to serve and nothing else? No it won't happen. Considering the amount of insults thrown at politicians in Ghana and their willingness to continue doing politics should tell the Ya-naa that the benefits outweigh the insults, so it's about don't mind the insults, mind the goodies. If not, why will someone who has been MP, deputy minister, minister , Vice President , president , former president wants to be president again? Definitely not for service but to grab more goodies. Late Nelson Mandela of South Africa is a good example of a president who came to serve his people. Having been in prison for 27 years and eventually gaining his freedom, one would have thought that after winning elections to become president of his country, he would have insisted on ruling for life, even though he had every opportunity to do that , he ruled for only 4 years and voluntarily left the scene, this is what we call service to people. Over here it's uncle and cousin, family and friends business .
Thank you king!!! He is such a Kplectomanic. As for his frog like wife, I hope she will not start her NGO again when they unlikely come to power. Shez so stubbornly corrupt, with poor English.
