Is Nana a movie producer? He is a politician. Bam
Well said. They are just funny!!
Can someone please educate me, do this movie people pay tax to the government? I have been thinking about this.
Yvonne, you and your colleagues should have an idea how and where you want the government to intervene in your industry. You are the industry players, you propose ideas and give directions where you the industry to go. petitioning the government for petitioning sake will not help.Have your proposals and present them to the government for help.If you do this and you dont get a positive response from government, then you can petition.
You the industry players are killing the industry. How could you be making movies based on foreign cultures with your Locally Manufactured Ascent (LAFA) in a country of only 36% literacy rate? Those of you so called Ghalywood (Accra Based Movie Industry Players) are empty up there. Look at Kumawood; they are really making good money even though some of the movies they put out there are nothing but krap. Instead oflooking smart to blend with them, pride and arrogance will not leave you. Sit and speak your English since English will put food on your table. Look at how Jackie blended so well with Lil-win! Now you want to petition the Government for what? Most people get home after a hard days work and wants to laugh and be entertained hence will buy and watch Kumasi Movies. Get some brains up there before you petition the Government.
Hahahaha the second lady does not regard you. She regards Kumkum Bagya. Go to india and demonstrate.I laugh enter the Loooooooooooooooooo!!!
As an actress how much have you invested in the industry yourself? When you guys make some few cedis, you place yourselves above everyone else thinking without investing in your own industry it will continue to flourish. You guys should rather write good scripts and partner some investors or the banks to help rejuvenate your dead industry. Movie production is an investment so are you asking government to invest in the movie industry for profit or what?
