A group of gospel stars on December 25 organised a charity gospel musical concert dubbed ‘The Spirit of Christmas’ at the West Hills Mall to raise funds for the needy.

The concert which was organised by veteran gospel group, Tagoe Sisters and Accra FM,attracted music lovers from all walks of life as well as a number of the stakeholders.

The event also witnessed performances from gospel artistes such as Selina Boateng, Kofi Sarpong, Gifty Osei, Akesse Brempong, Joe Mettle, Grace Ashy, Minister Igwe and a host of others.

At the concert, gospel music fans who attended the event were spotted singing and dancing as the various artistes took to the stage one after the other.

The artistes during their various performances appealed to the audience who had gathered to donate something to help the needy this Christmas.

A large number of the audience who were at the free concert contributed their quota to make the less-privileged smile this Christmas after enjoying spectacular performances from all the artistes.

Apart from raising funds to assist the needy, the charity event was organised to give the public the opportunity of enjoying a worship concert with renowned gospel artistes.
