Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician, Lady Prempeh has opened up on her controversial new blonde hairstyle.
Speaking with Peacefmonline.com, the beautiful Singer said the blonde hair was a decision by her management to shoot the video for her new single “Enka ho da”.
She has been trending on social media with fans complaining about her new look stating it does not befit a gospel musician, particularly one of her standards, to engage in such "worldly" fashion.
The renowned gospel artiste, who acknowledged having read some of the comments on social media, offered this explanation.
“I first of all want to tell my fans to be patient with me and its not like I haven’t seen or heard their comments. However, it is part of the job and if you are under management, unless they tell you to go naked which doesn’t glorify God but just a blonde hairstyle, I don’t think it is too bad a thing”, she stated.
Asked how long she is going to keep the blonde hair, Lady said “From the look of things, we wanted to just shoot the video with it but from what people are saying; they like it so I might keep it on a bit longer. Some people even want me to keep it forever”.

Ater disappearing from the music scene for years, she released her first come back single titled ‘Aseda’ on the 25th November 2018.
But the release of her second single, albeit with a different look, is what has set tongues of gospel music lovers wagging.
Lady Prempeh looks poised to take her place again in the ever-changing Ghanaian gospel music fraternity with a list of refreshing new songs on her yet to be released album.

It does not suit you at all. And who said you must see something wrong with it? Have you heard the saying 'de3 otwa sa nnim s3 nakyi akyea'? Change this hairstyle.
Give me a break!! You don't look good at all in the hairdo.
Then you have either backslidden or on the verge of backsliding. Look sharp.
Hmmmmm....
My dear lady, change this kind of hairstyle. In fact you look like a ghost. That is not how a christian woman should appear or dress.
