Maverick Ghanaian politician and outspoken Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency, Sam George has revealed that award-winning Dancehall singer, Shatta Wale resurrected the Ghana music industry.
Sam George made this pronouncement during a live radio interview with media personality, Nana Aba Anamoah on Starr FM.
According to Sam George, the music industry was dead long ago but Shatta Wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah brought it back to life and it is an achievement he will forever be proud of.
Sam George said that the “Ayoo” hitmaker is the ‘Faiza’ in Ghana music and said he [Shatta Wale] has added something to his brand which has appealed to a certain base of music lovers in the country and he described Shatta Wale as the trailblazer.
He said;
“What Shatta has also done for the Ghanaian music industry is that he has created a certain movement; so, it is now the 1 Don, 1 Gad etc. Shatta is a trailblazer.
