Sadly, the mother of Citi FM’s Jessica Opare Saforo has kicked the bucket. Felicia Opare Saforo, the name of her mother, passed out almost not a month after her 69th birthday.
The Broadcaster on Citi FM & Celebrity Fan Zone, also the Executive Director of The Voice Ova Company, made known this sad news on social media. She took to her Twitter account saying, “Death has a way of changing people. Suddenly we all realise how precious life is and how fragile we really are. U may not able to reach out 2 everyone but be a light in the corner where u are. People may forget a face or even a name, but will not forget how you made them feel”.
Felicia Opare Saforo left behind 4 children, of which Jessica falls last. She seems to have had a very special bond with her mum.
Tributes have started pouring from family, friends and fans.
On her mother’s birthday which was January 27, Jessica showered her with praises stressing that, she was lucky to have her as a mother. She particularly described her faith, which the radio personality obviously has immensely benefitted as infectious.
“You make me want to truly and fully surrender all my burdens unto this God you have encouraged me to know. You tell me that nothing can prevent you from seeking Him and believing in His Word”, the strong-willed presenter observed.
The award winning broadcaster took advantage of the moment to ask for God’s abundant blessings and longevity for her mum as she turns a year older.
