John Dumelo aka Mr V8 has jumped into farming creating jobs for some unemployed Ghanaians as he is aiming to cultivate maize on a thousand five hundred acres of land this year.
Looks like most Ghanaian celebrities are taking the cross upon themselves to help feed Ghanaians by engaging in farming. A few weeks ago, popular dancehall artiste, Samini was also spotted in his onion farm seriously working.
However, John Dumelo posted some pictures of himself and his workers in his maize farm on social media and wished all Ghanaians a very special May Day and urged them to work hard.
“Last year my company did 34 acres but this year we are doing over 1500 acres of maize. This will feed thousands of homes across the country and create over 150 direct and indirect jobs. I couldn’t have achieved this without hard working Ghanaians.”
