Members of the Praye music group have announced plans of releasing two singles by the close of the year.

A member of the group, Eugene Baah, also known as Choirmaster, told SVTV Africa that the group is currently in the studios working on a number of singles, including the two which will be released soon.

“We are not going to disappoint music lovers; we know what is trendy and how to wow our fans again,” Choirmaster said.

He added that although the group has been defunct for five years, they still have the energy to create an indelible mark on the hearts of music lovers. He attributed the successful comeback of the music group to God.

The group, which is made up Eugene Baah (Choirmaster or  Praye Ho Ne Ho), Steven Fiawoo (Cartel Big J or Praye Tiatia) and Nana Kwame (Kente or Praye Tenten), shot to fame after winning the maiden edition of the Nescafé African Revelation contest in Ghana, as well as the West African grand finale.

They became one of the formidable groups in the country churning out hits after hits until they parted ways pursuing solo projects.

In 2006 at the Ghana Music Awards, they were adjudged the new artiste of the year. Their song ‘Shordy’ also won the new hiplife song of the year.
