Ghana’s fastest rapper Sarkodie has reacted to the story of Wendy Shay describing a question being asked by MzGee as “Dumb”.
Wendy Shay was last weekend interviewed after her performance at the BF Suma Connect Concert 2018 by MzGee. During the interview, the RuffTown signee was asked: “Who is Wendy Shay?” a question she thought wasn’t right and immediately said that was the dumbest question she has ever been asked and walked out of the interview.
After the video went viral, Ghanaians on social media have been bashing the “Uber Driver” hitmaker for referring to the question as dumb.
According to them, the question was just to make her highlight more about her brand but she ended messing everything up.
Well, Sarkodie has come out to apologize on behalf of Wendy Shay asking that she should be forgiven because she is young in the industry and it would take time for her to gain full confidence and the knowledge to react to questions of that nature when they come.
He posted: “Not to endorse what Lil sis Wendy did but as artistes we’ve had days like that especially coming up in the beginning, takes time to gain full confidence and the knowledge to be able to maneuver our way through this job easily She acted on the human reflex forgetting the job she’s in. At a point you feel people are after you and you get extra sensitive to almost everything and that can even affect those who have no intentions or agenda to cause harm and even affect yourself
Through the whole interview l realized the state she was in because I’m an artiste too but definitely not the best of ways to deal with it.
Would apologize to the interviewer and plead for our sis. Mistakes happen let’s keep supporting”

i think what Sakordie said is just on point 👌..she just arrived in the industry so its just a matter of time ..i dont think its easy to go through an interview right after a performance..sincerely i think it takes grace and some kind of 'capa' and at rhe end of the day be asked such a question?...well,i go with Sakordie...lets be Fam okay,Gh is nothing without us...refuse to be offended by lyrics,i think she meant no harm ,sorry to you .chapter closed!
Look at this bigot. You sing a song and insulted a whole tribe and you've not regretted but continue to perform that song and here you're apologizing for a decision that was taken by a sane adult. You see why Shatta described you as hypocrite and some people don't understand?
