Renowned Ghanaian musician, Kwabena Kwabena, has declared that he is officially withdrawing from politics ahead of the upcoming elections.
In an interview on TV3‘s New Day, the acclaimed artiste, known for hits like “Aso”, stated unequivocally that he has no intention of campaigning for any political party or producing songs for political campaigns.
“I am completely out of politics. I am Ghanaian,” he affirmed when questioned about his potential involvement in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) campaign for the upcoming general election.
Kwabena Kwabena, who had previously shown support for the governing NPP and played a significant role in the party’s 2016 election campaign, emphasised his desire to distance himself from political involvement moving forward.
