This year’s Miss Malaika Ghana brought together different ladies from different facets of life.
Many of them were from tertiary schools in and around Ghana with various course backgrounds.
The judges, Karen kashkane, a fashion blogger and stylist, William Asiedu, Managing Editor of Daily Heritage Newspaper and Joselyn Dumas, actress and television personality, took the contestants through intellectual drilling, personal development and self esteem routines.
The girls were asked all kinds of questions which aimed to evaluate their confidence and control over the English Language.
Judge Karen in her quest to test the pronunciation ability of one of the girls during the auditions, wrongly spelt the word “TWILIGHT” as “TWILLIGHT”.
In the video below, all three judges were heard debating as to whether the word had a single L or double.
