The Editor of starrfmonline.com, Kent Mensah has been suspended by top management of the EIB Network after he was said to have posted a flyer seeking opinions of respondents on persons likely to face the newly appointed Independent Special Prosecutor Martin A.B.K Amidu when he takes office later in the year.
Sources close to mynewsgh.com indicate that Mr. Mensah was suspended following pressure from some senior members of National Democratic Congress (NDC) who piled pressure on the top management of the EIB media empire.
According to our information, they were displeased that appointees under the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) allegedly accused of corruption which is being handled by security agencies and a matter of public record, were captured in the artwork which was only meant to conduct a poll on possible targets of the Special Prosecutor
He was subsequently issued with a suspension letter on his way home via mail last Friday, January 12, 2018.
It is not immediately known when Mr. Kent Mensah will be recalled but checks reveal that Joy Fm on the same day, conducted a similar poll on their facebook page which attracted several comments.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kent Mensah is said to be instrumental in the progress of starrfmonline.com which is the major backbone of the EIB Network and has been working with them for three years

It seem as though the EIB Group has a special attachment to the NDC. Otherwise, how can such flimsy complaint from a party will result in suspension. I would have thought that EIB would have apologized and retract. By experience, I am clear in my mind that EIB has something to do with NDC, for me this should be made known to the staff so they do not unnecessarily put themselves in situations like this, especially when senior management is the only ones keeping this connection to their chest. A member of the fourth estate, with some independence, this is untenable. No wonder, EIB over a period of five months is loosing almost 5 to 6 of its personnel to its competitors.
There were people on Peace FM Entertainment review yesterday talking for the sake of it. All that the African knows is the government must do A, B , C .... All you talking about the government not investing money into the Creative Arts Industry should tell me any feasible area you have researched that's worth investing in? Ex-president Mahama gave a huge amount of money to the Creative Arts but it ended up in the pockets of Obour, bcos he's the only graduate among you guys so he could beat you all to it. Now look at him, greedy balackman eating his way to death. Government can not just give money to the Creative Arts for the sake of it. You must come up with a proposal then call for investment. I don't blame you as most of you guys are SHS drop outs so all you know is blaming someone for not doing something. For instance you can arrange with say Uni of Ghana or NAFTI and draw up a curriculum for Movie Directing and then you can call for investment so that all the Kumawood guys you have been insulting will have some knowledge to produce good movies. Who's is controlling Gh Media? Look at how these iddiootts called Bloggers are messing up all over Gh? Who is doing or proposing what? You guys must get a grip and stop talking F0O0LISHNESS because you on air. My respect to Fred Kyei Mensah who's full of wisdom.
