The Badminton Association of Ghana (BAG) gave this assurance following intense preparations to ensure a successful tournament, saying they were ready to welcome participating teams this week.

The tournament, which is dubbed “JE Wilson Ghana International Series” is expected to draw at least 104 international players from over 22 countries from across the globe.

The participating countries include Nigeria, Benin, Egypt, Senegal, Togo, South Africa, Czech Republic, India, Malaysia, Belgium, Portugal and the US.

The event according to the BAG is one of the biggest on its calendar this year and hence would put in all efforts to making it successful.

Ghana is expected to parade her top stars such as Emmanuel Yaw Donkor, Abraham Ayittey, Daniel Sam, Ebenezer Andrews, Emmanuel Botwe, Grace Attipaka and Eyram Migdodzi in a bid to challenge for more laurels in the tournament.
