Inter Allies suffered another home defeat in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), at the hands of Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Allies who glued to the bottom of the league log and have relegation staring at them recorded their sixth defeat despite dominating possessions in the first half as they had Dwarfs’ keeper Razak Issah to beat.
Ebusua Dwarfs lifted up their game in the second half to snatch their third win in Accra by taking the lead in the 71st minute when nimble-footed Benjamin Acquah danced his way into the box before smashing the ball into the bottom corner for the opener.
Five minutes later Moro Sumaila added the second when Inter Allies pressed for the equalizer but lost possession in the Dwarfs area, as George Asamoah sent an accurate pass to Moro Sumaila who brilliantly hit pass goalkeeper Gideon Ahenkora.
The defeat leaves Inter Allies at the bottom of the table with 7 points as Dwarfs moved to fourth place with 19 points.
