Thousands of people in the Tamale Metropolis became lawless yesterday night, in their celebration over the Black Satellites win of the world trophy of young players.
The lawless celebration resulted in three injuries recorded at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
The jubilants said it was a grand historic moments in the history of footfall of the Satellites and Africa, hence the need for them to show their appreciation to the young players by celebrating their hearts out.
Some people were seen with motorbikes, bicycles and cars driving and skilfully displaying their expertise in driving and riding, while others followed drumming and dancing.
Those who could not join them due to the risky nature of the celebration were found at drinking spots sharing a drink or two, to show their support for the Satellites.
The celebrants told the GNA Sports that they wish and pray that the Black Stars also do their best by bringing home great memories, by winning the World Cup come 2010, schedule at South Africa.
