Ghana youth international Abeiku Quansah made a winning start on his debut for Arsenal Kiev in their 3-0 win over bottom-placed Chornomorets Odessa in the Ukrainian Premier League on Saturday.
The 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup winner, who missed last weekend�s league match due to work permit problems, was handed a starting role in midfield.
The 21-year-old has been a traditional right-winger but his new boss Leonid Kuchouk wants him take charge as a middle man.
Quansah expressed his delight after impressing on his debut which lasted for an hour.
�You know it is always good to be playing. I was replaced after 60 minutes. I was very satisfied with the impact I made and I am very happy as well. I look forward to playing more games.�
Quansah joined the �Gunners� from French side Nice on a three year deal.
