Ghana second-tier outfit Real Tamale United (RTU) have threatened to boycott the FA Cup due to their dire financial situation.
According to RTU Chief Executive Abu Nurudeen, the clubs kitty is dry and paying players has been a headache for some time now.
"We are facing dire financial difficulties at the moment and as we speak, we have not paid salaries for four to five months," Nurudeen told Happy FM.
"We have problems with our sponsors Wienco and board members. If by Friday there is no improvement, then we will boycott the tournament."
The tournament, which was revived during the last season, commences on December 13.
