Chelsea ace Michael Essien says he will miss duo Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou who have left Stamford Bridge this summer.
The workaholic midfielder has been good friends with the Ivory Coast duo since his arrival at the club in the summer of 2005.
Talisman Drogba has joined Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenghua in a big money move.
Kalou signed for Lille in the Frecnh Ligue 1.
Essien believes their exits will be take something away from the Chelsea dressing room.
I will miss them but that is the game, it is part of our job and we have to deal with it. I wish them the very best of luck and we still keep in touch, Essien said.
It was a very good way for them to say goodbye to the club, playing the Champions League Final because we have been looking for that trophy for a long time.
