Medeama are back in the Ghanaian top-flight's title race after winning 1-0 against was All Stars in a replayed fixture on Thursday afternoon in Tarkwa.
A 90th minute goal by Theophilus Anobaah handed the Mauves all three points that sees them cut the gap at the top to just one point.
Medeama were four point behind the top two sides - Kotoko and Chelsea in that order - before kick off after their game was rained off on Wednesday.
But with this crucial win, their title hopes is just as bright as the other two sides ahead of them on the log.
The hosts struggled to break down All Stars until Anobaah came to their rescue on the stroke of full time.
The visitors, who need one point from their remaining two games to guarantee their safety tried to draw level in added time but they coud not find the final through ball.
