Former Ghana goalkeeper George Owu has fixed his sight firmly on a return to the Ghana senior team after helping second-tier side Sekondi Hasaacas secure promotion back to the Ghana Premier League.
The 30-year-old left Ebusua Dwarfs to return Hasaacas last season after returning from a stint with Egyptian side El-Masry.
Owu, who has 9 international caps with Ghana kept all matches for Hasmal as they successful navigated their return to the Ghanaian top-flight.
And the former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper is confident his form in the Premier League next season will propel him for a return to the Black Stars.
I know Im doing well and Ive not given hope. Very soon Ill show that in the Premier League and hope get back into the national team, he told Accra-based Peace FM.
Owu was a member of the 2006 Ghana World Cup squad that made their debut appearance in the World Cups history.
