Kotoko midfield gem Michael Helegbe could play against Hasaacas next Thursday after returning to training.
The 28-year-old has not played for the Porcupine Warriors since he suffered an injury in their opening Ghana Premier League match against Aduana Stars on September 15.
But the ex-Liberty Professionals midfielder has started training with the side and could be fully fit before their Premier League home date against struggling Hasaacas at the Baba Yara stadium.
His return is expected to boost an already star-studded team as they chase their third consecutive title on the domestic scene.
Meanwhile striker Seidu Bancey has also started training after recovering from an injury that has ruled him out of the last two games.
