Kotoko General Manager Opoku Nti has proposed to the board to appoint interim manager Michael Osei as the substantive head coach for the Club.
Osei who is currently acting as the stop-gap coach for the side could be handed the top job at Kotoko after an impressive run with the Club.
The Porcupine Warriors have been able to record eight wins under the supervision of the former Black Stars player.
In an interview with Accra-based Happy FM, General Manager Opoku Nti revealed he has asked the board to permit management to appoint Michael Osei as the new head coach for the side.
“I have proposed to the board to appoint Michael Osei as the substantive head coach of the team,” he said.
“We sent in a request so they are now looking into it and I believe a decision will be taken soon.”
Michael Osei guided the Club to win the President Cup after defeating Hearts of Oak on penalties at the Accra Sports Stadium last Friday.
