Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi is likely to be appointed the next CAF vice President after playing a major role in Ahmad Ahmad's triumph over Issah Hayatou.
Nyantakyi could be named as the new deputy leader for the Confederation of African Football after Madagascan Ahmad Ahmad emerged victorious in CAF’s general elections which was held in Addis Ababa.
The legal practitioner has been serving as a CAF executive committee member for almost a decade.
The WA All Stars owner has come under intense pressure to vacate the seat as the Ghana Football Association President having assumed office back in 2004.
He was voted on the FIFA executive council for the season time after securing maximum votes at CAF’s general elections held in Addis Ababa yesterday.
