Ace sports journalist Mohammed Amin Lamptey has promised to organise a demonstration to resist any attempt by the Normalisation Committee to seek for an extension of its six months mandate granted them by FIFA.
The Normalisation Committee was appointed by FIFA to temporarily take charge of running Ghana football after the football association was thrown into a state of confusion following Anas' Number 12 exposé.
Since the Committee's appointment, several football pundits and stakeholders have expressed dissatisfaction with the pace of their work.
Reports went rife last week that the Committee are in discussion with FIFA to extend their mandate in order to complete their task properly.
But according to Amin Lamptey, any attempt by the committee to seek for extension of their six months mandate will be resisted through a demonstration.
“I will not entertain any extension from Normalisation Committee. They should finish their work by March and leave. Should they seek any extension from FIFA, I will organise a demonstration against it," he stated on Happy FM
