As part of improving health care delivery in Ghana, the E.K Afranie Memorial Foundation has donated neurosurgical items to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Stroke Unit.
The presentation, which was jointly done by Events Manager, Dan Kwaku Yeboah and some family members of the former Black Stars coach who are the founders of the foundation, was valued at £6000 (GHS37,700).
Officials of the foundation took turns to exchange ideas with workers at the Stroke Unit of the renowned hospital, based in Kumasi.
Funds for the donation was realized from the launching of the Foundation’s book to honour the late coach titled: Coach Hene: Football’s Gift to Mother Ghana by Dan K Yeboah.
