Vice President-elect Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur (popularly call Paa or P.K.) was born in Cape Coast in Ghana�s Central Region to Mr. J. R. P. Amissah- Arthur, an educationist, and Mrs. Effie Amissah Arthur in April 1951.
