The Northern Regional branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says the skirmishes that have characterized the announcement of 212 chief executives demonstrate the incompetence of the president’s appointees. In the view of the NDC, members of the NPP are protesting against the nominees because they see them as not being competent. In some areas, the angry NPP supporters burnt vehicle tyres and destroy property to express their displeasure.
